Kurd elected as Syria Coalition deputy chief
Syria pro-Kurdish al-Party Leader Abdulhakim Bashar was elected as the deputy of Ahmad Asi al-Jarba the chief of Syria National Coalition, the main opposition body seeking to topple President Bashar al-Assad.

Dr. Abdulhakim won 82 votes and become Jarba’s deputy, al-Party representative in Turkey Behzad Ibrahim told Kurdpress, stressing that the Kurds were seeking to achieve the leadership of the coalition but it did not the Kurds to run for the post.

More than 50 members of the coalition announced their resignation in the opposition boy in protest to the re-election of Jarba on Sunday.
